Left Senanque Abbey, I kept walking along the Lavender Line of Luberon area. My next goal was Gordes.

I think even if there is no Peter Mayle and his A Year In Provence, Roussillon is definitely the Must-See village on Lavender Line, with its wonderful red.

Roussillon was my first stop of Lavender Line. It is considered one of the most impressive villages in France.

The Senanque Abbey is a Cistercian abbey which was founded in 1148. It located undernear the fabulous stone village of Gordes in the department of the Vaucluse in Provence.

Lavender, purple lavender , that’s what I am longing for.
But it’s the bad weather this year, and it’s a little late I got to Provence, Only this small field was not reaped all around the Lavender Line, It’s Okay, Thanks so much to Senanque Abbey.

The best time to visite Avignon is summer. It’s the important cultural center of Provence during the this time, The Theatre Festival is one of the most important summer festivals for modern theatre and drama, you can even see some very avant-garde pieces here.
