Glass Making Shop At The End Of Glass Road

Passau just locates at the end of the 250km long Glass Road in Bavaria, Germany. So it’s not hard to find some small glass making shops to watch how the folk artists worked on those colorful glass.

Following Princess Sissi’s Traces, Where She Secreted In Passau

Found in 11th century, Wilder Mann Hotel (wild man) was the most historic hotel in Passau. It has hosted Sissi (Empress Elizabeth of Austria), and the famous U.S. Astronaut Neil Armstrong.
It also share the same building with the world’s largest collections of Bohemian glass, Passau Glass Museum.

Allianz Arena, Another Stadium I Love Except Bird’s Nest In BeiJing

The whole World is focusing on Bird’s Nest and Water Cube in Beijing these Olympic games days. Bird’s Nest is one of amazing originality in my eyes. But the design of Water Cube is somewhat like Allianz Arena, And I think Allianz Arena is much clear.

The second morning in Passau, I noticed that many local people and tourists went to St. Stephen’s Cathedral from different place.
Yeah, The world’s largest cathedral organ would perform at 12:00am.

Back To School Time At University Of Passau

Passau was a very small city that you can learn by walk. So we walked to the University Of Passau at a sunny evening.
It’s so great to have a chance back to the schoolyard. Miss those light-hearted days so much!

Looking For Aecht Schlenkerla Smoke Beer——Enjoy Beer Garden At Bamberg(4)

I love small town as Bamberg, I can walk everywhere easily, And know every detail by foot.
Schlenkerla is the best-known tavern in Bamberg, It’s just in the centre of the old town, and only ten-minutes walk from my hotel. So I would pass it several times a day.

Something You Don’t Know Inside The St Michael’s Church Of Bamberg

I was interesting in St Michael’s Church (Michaelskirche) because it’s a almshouses now. Though I didn’t meet any old people there, I learned something I couldn’t know from other travel guide fortunately.
