I got up very early the morning I left Avignon.
The sun rose slowly outside the Avignon TGV Station.
Maybe it’s showing “welcome back to Provence” to me.

There were seven Popes had resided in Avignon. So Palace Of the Popes to Avignon just as the Forbidden City to Beijing. It’s the UNESCO World Heritage Site, and of course, the place I can’t miss in Provence.

Louisa brought me some sausage from Avignon last year. It tasted great.
So I bought Provence local food from Avignon Farmer Market for my own breakfast.

There was loud applause now and again under my window from day to night.
I knew many great buskers from all over the world were coming here, Just because here is Avignon, Here is Provence.

The best time to visite Avignon is summer. It’s the important cultural center of Provence during the this time, The Theatre Festival is one of the most important summer festivals for modern theatre and drama, you can even see some very avant-garde pieces here.

It’s so difficult to find a bed at Provence area during the Avignon Theatre Festival. Susan said she had to book a hotel one year before. But I think it’s worth even if I had to stay on the street.

I arrived Avignon during the time of Theatre Festival at Provence, with the famous song On The Bridge Of Avignon on the road. I want eagerly to see the The Saint Benezet’s Bridge which people can dance round and round.

I tried to find a hotel in Avignon a month before I started out. But it seemed all kinds of Hotels were occupied. Oh, My God, Did that mean It’s wrong to visit Avignon during the Theatre Festival?
