Amiens Cathedral was designated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981, It’s the first highlight I visited in Amiens .
I arrived Amiens at evening. Amiens Cathedral was already closed. The sunshine of sunset made it looks so grand.

Amiens Cathedral was designated as the UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1981, based on “the coherence of its plan, the beauty of its three-tier interior elevation and the particularly fine display of sculptures on the principal facade and in the south transept.”
