QuXu Bridge seems very secret.
We were told do not take the camera out during the time we pass the Bridge. Many soldier stand guard for it.

Quxu means “winding stream” in Chinese. Quxu Bridge is the first bridge to span the Brahmaputra River, It is an important gateway from Lhasa to the Shannan area as it links east and west Tibet.

The photograph shows the opening ceremony in 1974.
Just beside the Bridge, There is a famous Water Burial Altar. Prayer’s flags in different color and green water make it looks so beautiful.

Tibet funeral divided into different ways: The Celestial burial, inhumation,Water Burial, Incineration, Stupa Burial. Because Water Burial reasons, Tibetan not eat fishs.
It was said Tibetan draw white or red paint on the rock on the nearby mountains, Tibetan think that is ladder to heaven. Unfortunately, I have no time to look at a real.

Location: Starting along the Lhasa River from Lhasa, about 60 kilometers southwest to QuXu Bridge, Water Burial Altar just beside the bridge.
Tips:
1.No photo on the bridge.
2. All vehicles is not allowed to open the headlamps on the bridge in night.
