I did not know Pangkor is one of the best sea resorts in the world. I myself haven’t yet visited the island. I think nowadays the more popular island destinations in Malaysia are Redang, Perhentian on the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia as well as Sipadan, Mabul and Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park in Sabah, East Malaysia. I will be going to Tunku Abdul Rahman Park at year end and Redang next year after Angkor Wat.

Oh, thanks Jam, You teach me more about Malaysia. I only visited your country once, and only visited Pangkor Laut Resort and Kuala Lumpur.

I saw these information about Pangkor from our local media. Maybe an advertisement like report.

You know we know many highlights of other countries from local media reports. So I think their PR work is very important. :)

Hi Che-Cheh, I went to Malaysia last year, A very short weekend trip. So sorry I didn’t have enough time to know better about Malaysia. Hope I can have chance to meet you next time!

I don’t know what’s problem about RSS feeds. Since feedburner was blocked, we can’t check our RSS feeds. :(

I will ask iWalk to adjust it. :)

What an exquisite place! I would love to sit back and relax there!

I would say the fish is either a watering can or a candle holder.

Beautiful pictures! Malaysia is really beautiful! I think that terracotta fish could serve as a flower pot if all else fail!

Funny, I was supposed to visit Malaysia few years ago, but my vacations were ruined by a Typhoon, so I decided not to go. But maybe some day I’ll back to that idea. The weather there must be beautiful this time of year.

The item you found on the bay, the fish-shaped clay item, is actually a clay lantern. Instead of glass, the candle light flickers through the star-shaped patterns and the wide-open mouth and tail on the “fish”.
