Laoshan Mountain Tea Garden

(崂山) lies about 30km east of , , China. It is the “No.1 coastal mountain” in China. It is also known as the birthplace of Taoism.
is very famous too. It’s said the first tea plant was planted by Qiu Chuji(丘处机), one of the most famous of QuanZhen seven disciples(全真七子). He was also the founder of the Dragon Gate Taoism(龙门教).

    The pictures are awesome Tiny!!! This is the first time I’m looking at a tea garden in a coastal area!! I have seen lot of tea garden near my mom’s place though..The tea set is really adorable! I love the round shape! but I’m not used to the green tea..some how I dont like the smell of green tea..I know green tea is very good for health as it contains antioxidents but sadly I cannot withstand the smell of green tea! Thanx for sharing about this wonderful place! :)

    It’s the first time I visited such a tea graden too.

    Yeah, sudha, Green Tea is very good for our health, But I love India red tea too, That’s taste great!
