Waiting For Another Snow Day In BeiJing
When iWalk was enjoying the warm sunshine of YunNan, BeiJing finally met it’s first snow this winter. It was the result of rainmaking.
It came after Lichun(立春) according to the traditional Chinese calendars, But late was better than never, As you know, It’s so drouthy in North China.
We could hear the noise of rainmaking clearly that day. But I never thought I could meet such big snow in spring.
After a No snow No rain drouthy winter, The snow was so lovely.
The weather forecast said, Another big snow would come this week. Okay, Let’s enjoy!

I read about China’s rainmaking in the newspaper. What surprises me is the snow. I always thought rainmaking is to make rain.

Hi iwalk, looking at the snow I got shivering here lol
) At Noida where I live..near New Delhi winters are chill but it dont snow here..The minimum goes till 1degree nd a few times dropped to 0degrees. But my son always wanted to play in snow..so planning to go to a hill station for vacations

Did you draw the smiling face on the car window? Love the first snow of the year. Thereafter it can be a pain to shovel and move around in.

brr yeah… it looks so cold, but cool as well. Since I’m living in tropics, perhaps if I be there oneday, I can immediately catch cold and sneeze , and I’m gonna have to ask for warm hug from you and Leo to help me out

I read about this in the papers here. Amazing what technology can do these days. I would imagine it will be possible to produce snow even in places where it has never snowed in the past using this?

Beautiful snow pics! I love the snow too, and hope that we get some more here in NYC! Other people here don’t feel that way, but more snow means more snowboarding for me!
Also, it’s just beautiful to look at. I bet it’s cold over there right now!
