Typical Country House Of MianZhu

iWalk 12 February 2009 27 Comments

I always love to see these typical country houses of Mianzhu, With Chinese new year painting on the wall.
Though some of these houses were hurt badly because of WenChuan earthquake, But most of them were repaired and repainted for the new spring festival.

In my older post Enjoy Chinese New Year Painting At Mianzhu, I already talk much about MianZhu new year painting. It’s one of the main four new year paintings of China.

I love these new year paintings, specially these on the wall of country house of SiChuan style.

I know it’s a part of Mianzhu’s culture project, most of these paintings were painted by folk artists which were invited by MianZhu gorvernment. But I think the farmers who own it get the benefit, Yeah, it’s so great to live in such a house.

Hi iwalk, the paintings are really adorable. Chinese people are really good at arts. If I get a chance I would love to have a chinese painting to decorate the wall of my living room.

    放心吧,这些房子是当地农户的私有财产,年画也是绵竹的门面,当地应该会好好保留的。
