Spring Is Coming

It’s still cold, But According to Chinese traditional calendar, spring is coming.
My father took these photos in some parks of . Yeah, They do not belong to this cold season, But they come ahead of schedule to inform us a colorful spring is coming after a happy .









According to the Chinese traditional calendar, A year is divided into 24 solar terms. “start of spring”(Li Chun) is the 1st solar term. 04 Feb is the day of “start of Spring”, Yeah, Spring is Coming!

    Oh, I know Foshan’s porcelain is very good, That’s just near GuangZhou. One of my friend also own a porcelain workshop here.

    I think you will enjoy your tour around Guangzhou too, specially during the new spring festival, there are many traditional performs too!

    Spring is lovely, whereby the beautiful flowers would appear and brighten up the country ! Miss my days when I was studying in Australia and my Tokyo spring holiday trip to take photographs of the many different kinds of flowers blossoming in Spring !!!

    I love the bees but I am afraid of them at the same time, I never took such a picture for them. Fortunately, My father did it. :)

    The Chinese have 2 calendars right? The solar calendar and the lunar calendar. The 1st day of new year on 26th Jan is following the lunar calendar, right?

    Oh,foongpc, You are right, We have two calendars. and 26th Jan is the first day of 2009 according to the lunar calendar. :)

    So we say happy new year to you 25 days later than the solar calendar. :P

It just symbolizes a new fresh beginning for me and brings hope in my heart and an unexplainable joy. Maybe I’m weird but that’s the effect spring has on me.

    I’m in South Africa, so our spring only starts in September.
