My Christmas Gift: Wall-E Movie Soundtracks

15 December 2008 23 Comments

is definitly the best product of Pixar from now on! It’s already No.34 on IMDB’s Top 250 movies in the history after only one weeks launch.
With less dialogue than any other movies, Wall-E ‘s music play a great role.

The story starts with a horrible future. Our earth was destroied by human so badly that human bejing couldn’t live on it any longer, They had to fly away to the space to survive.

700 years later, There is still only a robot working on the earth, He keeps doing the same cleaning job everyday. But different from other robot, This robot loves collect all kinds of interesting things he can find among the rubbish. He became a robot who knows much about romantic and feeling.

It’s a robot listening  Put On Your Sunday Clothes while working, A robot throw away the diamond rings but keep the box. A robot know how to express his feeling to his lover with La Vie En Rose, A robot can do anything for his lover…Yeah, He encounters a wonderful love adventure.

And I also irresistibly fell in love with him.

Yeah, That’s Wall-E.

It’s also the first time I am interesting about movie soundtracks. With these reports, I know better about the music:
1. CNN: Hello Dolly!’ inspires ‘Wall-E’ romance

2. ‘WALL-E’ Meets ‘Dolly!’

3. BBC: Jan Gilbert’s review about Thomas Newman Wall-E

BTW: Louis Armstrong’s “La Vie En Rose”, which is magnum opus of Edith Piaf, is one of my favorite. It’s my mobile ringtone for two years!

I love this movie so much! These links are interesting too!

There is also a kind of saying: Wall-E is a PC, Eve is a Mac. I don’t agree, do you?

    I don’t agree too.

Wall-E doesn’t has a Mac style appearance, But he has a real Mac style heart! He really know the meaning of love and life more than many people.

We can’t buy a DVD of this movie here. It’s not allow to be published in our country. So I was very sorry to Pixar, I watched it online.

That’s also the reason I buy this soundtracks, to express my apology to Pixar.

Did you watch the movie? The trailer caught my interest but I found the movie rather dry and wasn’t quite as entertaining.

Yeah, I have watched two times, and love it so much.

I love all the details in the movie, like Wall-E and Eve play the Rubik’s cube and plastic spoons.

I love the idea that the earth will full of robbish and don’t fit for life one day. It’s also a good environmentalistic movie. :D
