Japanese cuisine is one of my favorite cuisines and the reason I like it is that I think Japanese food is quite healthy to certain extent. I would definitely love to walk this street once in my life to experience the authentic Japanese cuisine.

Yeah, I think so. They eat less fry food, and prefer fresh things. And They est fish and vegetable more than others.

But I still think food is very expensive in Japan.

So the first one is a crab restaurant, and the seventh one is a fugu restaurant, Is that right?

These pictures bring back memories of when i used to live in Osaka.
What i like the best is the Takoyaki ( Octopus ball ) with the Okonomiyaki sauce ( Japanese Pizza sauce ) and mayonnaise . I love Osaka and i will go back there as many time as i can in the future .
That’s where i have learned to speak Japanese and some of the Osakaben ( Osaka dialect ) .

    Thanks Daniel!

Takoyaki is my favorite too, fortunately I can buy it at Beijing, though it doesn’t taste as good as Osaka Takoyaki. :)

You can even speak Japanese! Wow! I think it’s one of the diffecult languages in the world!

I heard that Fugu fish is poisonous if we don’t know how to prepare it properly and there are some people died eating this fish. I love the place but not all the dishes.

Yeah, Never cook Fugu yourself, And never try them at the restaurants which have no licences.

Safety is the most important thing.

The Japanese have such a way with images; they really give the impression that the dining experience will be very exciting. Even makes you think it might be worth giving the fugu a try :)

Doutonbori (道頓堀) is a nice place, but I actually found a much nicer okonomiyaki (お好み焼き) place away from that part of Osaka (大阪). The place and mood was so much nicer than the other restaurant I ate at in Doutonbori. The food was much better as well. It was near Hotel Green Plaza Osaka.

    I think that’s true.

Doutonbori is a great food street for tourists. But there are many good local restaurants need to discover among different streets.

Just like Beijing, You can only know some good restaurants after you know better about this city. :)
