You can catch ferries at Circular Quay. Ferries depart from Circular Quay every quarter past and quarter to the hour. Taronga Zoo is approximately 12 minutes by ferry from Circular Quay.

Taronga Zoo’s Sky-Safari Cable Car offers one-way journeys between the hours of 9.30am – 5.00pm daily.
Open Hours:
Taronga Zoo is open every day of the year from 9am to 5pm (including Christmas Day).
Regular Admission Prices:
Adults $39.00 ; Children (4-15 years) $19.00 ; Children under 4 Free
But they offer discounted admission prices, group price, student price, annual passes etc.

What gorgeous pics. I didn’t get to the zoo when I went to Sydney and fell in love with it. One of my favourite places there is the Chinese Garden of Friendship close to Darling Harbour.

They are so tall in height, and kept at a high point, overlooking Sydney ! Must be cool !
When I was there for holidays while during my uni days, we were brought up to a point in Bondi area, overlooking from the the top of the plateau, having a beautiful landscape of Sydney. didn’t take the photo during that time !
