The second morning in Passau, I noticed that many local people and tourists went to St. Stephen’s Cathedral from different place.
Yeah, The world’s largest cathedral organ would perform at 12:00am.

Inside roof is beautifully decorated with stucco-works, frescoes and paintings.

There are 500 angels in St. Stephen’s Cathedral, Only this one is crying.

St. Stephan’s Cathedral is a true masterpiece of Italian Baroque church in Old Town of Passau,Lower Bavaria. it was rebuilt in 1688 by the famous baroque architect Carlo Lurago, its stucco works were done by G.B.Carlone and the frescos were painted by Carpoforus Tencalla, all of them Italien baroque artists.
This Passau’s biggest Cathedral has acquired the largest cathedral organ in the world. The organ currently has 17,774 pipes and 233 registers, all of which can be played with the five-manual general console in the gallery.Organ concerts are held daily between May and September.
How to Get There:
On foot: Centre of the Old Town.
Tour of St. Stephan’s Cathedral
Tour of St. Stephan’s Cathedral (3,00 €) are offered May through October on workdays after the organ recital at 12:30 pm.
Concerts Time:
Take place workdays at 12:00 am and every Thursday at 07:30 pm from the beginning of May through the end of October.
Ticket:
Noon: 3.00 € for Adult ; 1,00 € for Child
Evening: 5.00 € for Adult ; 3,00 € for Child
