Tomorrow, August 16, is the 31th anniversary of Elvis Presley’s death.
Many thanks to dear Barnabe! He helped me brought this souvenir at a second-hand market of Paris. Yeah, It’s Elvis Presley’s 50th Anniversary limited edition collection of 6LPs!

Released in October 1984, ELVIS PRESLEY A Golden Celebration (50th Anniversary limited edition collection, There is a gold “A NUMBERED COLLECTIBLE” sticker on the lower left. My number is 17912)

6LPs featuring rare TV & concert recordings of Elvis Presley

I still remember the first time I know Elvis. One of my friend worte me a letter, she told me she was so moved by a song named “Love Me Tender”. “Could you help me translate it into Chinese? “She asked. But I found the feeling was so hard to translate.

Though I am not a true fan of Elvis Presley. But I love his love songs very much, I put all of them in my iPod, and they always together with me.

Elvis Presley always sung his songs with more feeling and passion. Maybe it’s the reason he was appreciated by all, from his 50’s baby boom generation to the “Post-90s” generation, And all the rest to come.

Yeah, Liam, At least it worth much to me.
Though sometimes I would ask myself why we should live in a reminiscent mood?
But nobody can replace Elvis, as well as Beatles, Audrey Hepburn, Gregory Peck etc.
