Bulit in 1872, This is the house has been living for 18 years.
I think it looks too modern, Like the building of 21 century.

“At my wife’s wishes I settled in , a sober, civilized town whose society is cordial and cultured. We are close enough to Paris to see its reflection without the unbearable noise and the futile bustle.” said in a letter to his friend.

finally bulit this house for himself in , and lived in here from 1882 to 1900. Most part of his work were written here. This house is named as International Center now.

A tower, a great veranda, big windows and some astronomic apparatus on the roof, ’ house looks very modern. But the most attractive part is exhibition inside, You can see many ’ s original edition novels, early posts, sci-fi models, maps and other docunments there, you can even hear his voice and steps from his ajar room.

So he is the master .
