Bamberg was a wonderful city of fantastic old half-timbered buildings along with the tasty smoky beer. I also posted about my visit at http://www.travel-wonders.com/2008/08/bacon-beer-and-bishops-bamberg-germany.html. It doesn’t seem to get as many visitors as many other German cities.
