There were five generation architects working for Sagrada Familia. All architects followed the idea of Antoni Gaudi’s mind.

Antoni Gaudi designed three portals(Nativity facade,Passion facade & Glory facade) dedicated to the three Christian virtues: Hope, Faith and Charity. Sagrada Familia project was only finished the nativity facade, one tower, the apse and the crypt when Gaudi died in 1926.

The nativity facade oriented to the east and the rising sun, is dedicated to the birth of Jesus and his life. Antoni Gaudi expressed it with his own unique organic style which was influenced by shapes and structures from the natural world. This time, Catalan Antoni Gaudi also use Catalonia yellow stone and Catalonia plant shape expressed his origin.
