Passeig de Gracia avenue belongs to the classes.
It’s the city’s elegant shopping area. You can find almost all the world’s topest fashion brands here. It’s one of the best places to view Catalonia modernist architecture too.You can see the Eixample feature of 19th century here.

The most famous architecture at Passeig de Gracia is Antoni Gaudi’s Casa Batllo. It’s another Gaudi’s masterpieces named as the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Unluckily,A personal party was holding on at Casa Batllo and I couldn’t take an inside visite that day. Many backpacker like me sat on the ground outside the Casa Batllo, tried to found a better view for photos.
Domenech I Montaner’s Casa Lleo Morera was just on the right side, and the left side was Puig I Cadafalch’s Casa Amatller. The three different style masterpieces were so different but so close to each other, That’s the charm of Passeig de Gracia.
Just take a relaxed stroll along the Passeig de Gracia, it’s a good idea to know the essence of Barcelona.:)
