This sumptuous collection of copper is a old vessel from 16th century.


From July 1 to August 25, you can watch the work of reaping and distillation: reaping with sickles and traditional distillation in a copper still dating from 1900.


Maybe this is the goal, The museum lives on your buying.

The Museum is some like Museum, some like store. It presents the history of the distillation of this ancient plant for over 4000 years. A 10 minute moive also shows the process of reaping and distillation of Lavender.

Location:
On D2 in Coustellet. The museum is on the right if approaching from the south, having turned north off the major N100 which runs east to west on the northern slopes of the Luberon.

Open Time:
Open all year from 1st February to 31st December.

Ticket:
€5 for everyone over 15, students get a discounted price of €4.
