Kanola Glacier, The Terrible Sample Of Deglaciation

We stoped at the 5036 metres Kanola mountain pass, the lowest glacier in the world, was just over my head.


Kanola Glacie is a sample of the warming temperature. ’s ice line became higher and higher these years. The file of said it’s 5000 metres above the sea level, But it’s already 800 metres higher.

I don’t know wheather we can do something to stop these terrible changing.


They said the ice line was as high as the house a few years before.


Two local girls live here were playing on the ice ground.

About 71 kilometers from Gyantse, 30 kilometers from Nagarze . It’s just sit aside the road.

Attention:
Kanola mountain pass already 5036 meters above sea level, carefully be care of altitude sickness.
