Learn a New Languages Before Start Off

User ImageiWalk 13 September 2007 2 Comments

I feel very diffecult at Barcelona because of the language problem. Few people speak English there, and almost no English road sign give me right direction. People there even not speak Spanish, They are pride of their own language of Catalunya.

Not Just Traveler, Many people are unable to connect with others around them because they cannot speak their local language. I ever met some chinese people who lived in China Town in San Francisco, They were born in SF, But the only language they can speak is some kind of Chinese, And they never walk out the China Town in their whole life time. What a Pity!

On the other Hand, Some people are language genius, I love to travel with these guys, They can always gain new insights, engage with new cultures and make new friends. But, Why not me?

Learning a new language is fun, and a chance of life-changing, Peter told me . I know it’s truth.

Thank Peter so mcuh, He also introduce me TELL ME MORE,The world’s leading language learning software. :)

that’s quite true, a lot of people don’t really want to speak in Spanish as Catalan is their mother tongue and their English isn’t too good either. I too had a bit of a hard time in Barcelona because of the language barriers. Nice weblog.
